It’s almost time to for students to head back to college, and for two credit union members, paying their tuition got a little easier. Those members, Julia Teta and Lauren Tatusko, won a total of $4,500 through the Colorado Premier Scholarship program offered by Premier Members Federal Credit Union.
Teta, who enters the University of Colorado at Boulder to major in business, won $2,500. Tatusko won $2,000 and will also attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a major in environmental design.
This is the second year Premier Members has offered Colorado’s Premier Scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be a member in good standing, have graduated high school or received a GED within the current year and be entering a college, university or vocational school.
